My First Red Carpet – 2018 BAFTA LA

Ahh I worked my first red carpet yesterday and it was one for the books!

The 2018 British Academy Britannia Awards (presented by BAFTA LA) celebrates the great achievements of many talented people between the U.S. and U.K. industries by honoring them with a special night filled with lots of praise and champagne haha😏 #cheers.

This year’s honorees included many A-list celebs like: Emilia Clarke, Cate Blanchett, Jim Carrey, Damian Lewis, Steve McQueen, and Kevin Feige.

And to think they were all standing by me before they started walking the red carpet…CRAZY! Also, I had no idea how tall Cate Blanchett was?! She’s even more gorgeous in person (same with Emilia).

Of course, there were other celebrities who attended the show like: Elliot Knight (he played Wes on the CW’s Life Sentence #bigfan), Elizabeth Debicki (Guardians of the Galaxy), Madeline Zima (The Nanny), Viola Davis (The Help), and SO many more! I would keep listing them but I don’t want this blog post to be too long.

Elliot Knight was actually the first person I escorted down the red carpet and he was so nice! We were talking like we were good friends it was so cool! Also, I adored hearing him talk because of his british accent.😍

PSA: You all need to go watch Life Sentence because it’s such a cute and loving show that you’ll be hooked.

Overall, it was such a good night filled with lots of NEW experiences and I learned so much about what it REALLY takes to put on an award show/red carpet. I got to check in press (and talent) and learn how to properly walk a celeb down a red carpet.

This first red carpet of mine was one I’ll never forget but watch out world because it definitely WON’T be my last!

…I’m just getting started.😉

But, before I go I would like to thank Carly for this amazing opportunity! Carly if you’re reading this thank you so much for yesterday! I am SO grateful to have you in my life!♡
