Happy Friday-Eve Cuties!
I am very excited for today’s blog post because we are going to be talking about some of my favorite editing apps that I use to make photo collages (or mood boards whatever you want to call them). Also, there may or may not be a giveaway towards the end of this blog post so you might want to keep reading.😏
Ok so I am sure you have seen mood boards like this
(Both collages above are by Jamie Lyn Kane.)
pop up on your Insta feed at some point in time. My girl Jamie Lyn Kane actually inspired me to start making these fun little collages. Mine will never live up to her’s but that is totally okay with me because she is the QUEEN of content creating.
*Tip: Save Jamie’s cute collages for your background!
–On mobile : Hold down on picture and click save image.
-Desktop : Right-click to save, save to your downloads and airdrop to your phone or email them to yourself to save on your phone.
Alright, so now let’s get into my favorite editing apps!
Obviously if you’re a pro and know how to use Adobe Photoshop than that’s an awesome way to make these collages, but if you are someone like me and don’t really have the patience to learn about it, then these apps will work just fine for you!
I love using over to create my mood boards because it’s super easy to work with and not confusing at all. They have so many features that you can play around and get creative with. Download it here.
What I love about Phonto is that you can add text to your images! The app has SO MANY fonts to choose from but they aren’t the cutest. That is why I go to DaFont.com and download my own fonts. Its super easy to install onto the Phonto app too. Download it here.
How to install fonts on your mobile device: Go to DaFont.com – Click “Download” on the Font you want – Click open in Phonto – Install the .otf or .ttf – And BAM you now have a super cute font to use!
Superimpose is basically photoshop but SO much easier to use! You can “mask” pictures on this app with the tap of a simple button. What “masking” means is you are able remove the background of a picture and make it transparent. I’ve been using this app for years and I absolutely love it! Download it here.
We Heart It
Last but not least is the app We Heart It, it’s kind of like Pinterest but more Tumblr? I don’t know how to explain it lol! But, I like We Heart It because they have so many cute overlays and pictures that I use for collages. Download it here.
With the help of these four apps I was able to create my own collages. The first one is just a mood board filled with bunch of different inspirational quotes and pictures, whereas the second one I created is inspired by Lennon Stella’s song “BITCH (takes one to know one)”! Then, I turned them into phone cases! Now how did I do that? Keep reading to find out!
So there’s this fabulous website called CaseApp that allows you to create your own customizable phone cases, and I’m teaming up with them again to host another giveaway! Who doesn’t LOVE giveaways?! I used CaseApp to design my own phone cases because you have the freedom to do anything you want, and won’t have a generic case that you see in the store!
CaseApp makes it super easy to design your own cases too! You can either choose one of their pre-made designed cases or you can click “customize your own case” – upload the image you want to go on the case – then order your case! Its as simple as that! You can even use my code “ALEXISB20” for 20% off!

Ok so now its time for the moment you have all been waiting for…GIVEAWAY TIME! As a HUGE thank you for hitting 5k followers awhile back I wanted to say thank you for all of your love and support! I know the number of followers you have or likes you get shouldn’t define your self-worth (which is doesn’t for me), but I still wanted to say thank you! It means so much to me that five thousand of you are supporting me on this crazy (but fun) journey!
