“I’m the true definition of a workaholic.” – Kim Kardashian
…and that clearly shows in everything that Kim does because all of her products turn out amazing. I recently visited KKW Beauty‘s pop-up shop at Century City Mall in Los Angeles and I must say I left super impressed, as well as pleased with all of the products I purchased.
At first, I was unsure about taking a trip to the mall for Kim’s pop-up because I was expecting a huge line and to pay for some over priced products just to have a “KKW Beauty” label. Well, I was kind of right about one of my reasons…there was a pretty long line just to get in the store because security would only let two groups in at a time, but I have to say it was worth the wait!

Not only was her pop-up shop aesthetically pleasing (both inside and out) but her staff was super friendly and helpful! I went into the pop-up shop looking to buy one thing her concealer. I’m sure we’ve all seen Instagram tutorials and Youtube videos about it, so naturally I had to jump on the bandwagon and test it out myself.
I am not a beauty guru whatsoever aka I cannot match a concealer or foundation shade, if my life depended on it! LOL!
With that being said, I asked one of the employees working there to help me out and she was super helpful! She kind of gave me a (somewhat) mini makeover because she tested out different concealer shades on my skin, then proceeded to bake and brighten my under eyes! I got the whole “shebang.”
Overall, the KKW Beauty pop-up shop was such a cool and amazing experience (if only it was a permanent store #sad). I definitely spent a good amount of time in there swatching eyeshadows, lipsticks, and smelling each of her perfumes. I left with Kim’s concealer kit that includes: liquid concealer, baking powder, brightening powder, and two brushes (sounds like a good deal to me).
…Oh before I go Kylie Cosmetics MAY or may not be having a pop-up shop right now. So, if you live in the L.A. area I suggest you make a trip to Century City Mall okurrr (you’ll thank me later).
‘Till next time!
