Hi loves!♡

My spring break is slowly coming to an end which means tons of schoolwork and fewer L.A. trips, so before I start school I thought I would share with you beauties what I did in L.A. yesterday! From high-class brunchin’ to walking around Venice it was quite a day.

For starters, my friend Sierra and I have had this L.A. trip planned with our moms for so long!! The day finally came, and it was one for the books. Our first stop of the day was The Beverly Hills Hotel to get our brunch on at The Cabana Cafe. Fancy, I know. I got the Sunset Club sandwich and it was so good! The best part of the sandwich to me was the avocado because it tasted so fresh and divine. All of our meals were pretty pricey but worth it! The portions were pretty big, and if you take your leftovers with you they come in this adorable and I mean adorable box (it can also serve as a cute photo prop as well hehe)! Sierra and I honestly felt like Maddie Ziegler and her BFF Lilia Buckingham eating here LOL.

So, if any of you have the opportunity to brunch at The Cabana Cafe, you won’t regret it! It’s such a cool experience, and the food is worth the price! Also, this cafe is totally Instagram-worthy and who doesn’t love a good Instagram picture nowadays, right??

Our next stop of the day was the infamous Venice Canals and Abbot Kinney Blvd. to walk around!

The Venice Canals were so pretty and definitely lived up to my Pinterest expectations of them! It was so lovely and relaxing to walk down the pathway of houses, enjoying the beautiful views.

After, the canals we walked around Abbot Kinney Blvd. (aka my new favorite place to go to in L.A.) and shopped! We also waited in a (somewhat) long line to try the famous ice cream place Salt & Straw. They’re known for their handmade delicious, interesting ice cream flavors. Some of their flavors were too weird for me. With that being said, me being the plain jane that I am I got “Double Fold Vanilla” a.k.a. Vanilla nothing special (lol). I did sample the flavor “Chocolate Gooey Brownie” that one was pretty good, but at the same time it was too chocolatey for me. So, once we got eating our ice cream, we continued to walk up and down Abbot Kinney Blvd. for awhile going into all of the cute boutiques!

As the sun started to set, we headed back to our car and decided to come home. We would have stayed longer but everything was pretty much closed by 8 pm, you would think most of the stores would be open late because #L.A., the city of angels and tourists, but I guess not??

All in all, it was a super fun day and a great way to end Spring Break! Until next time, L.A.♡

xo,

Lex
