Beautycon LA 2018

Hi loves! Happy Monday!

Yesterday I went to Beautycon LA for the 4th? 5th? time haha. All I know is that I’ve been going ever since it started! I honestly look forward to it every year!

For those of you who don’t know what Beautycon is let me give you a little rundown. Beautycon is described as “the world’s premiere fashion, beauty & lifestyle destination for fans, brands, and creators”. So, pretty much, it’s a convention where all of your favorite influencers and brands are altogether in one place. It’s kind of like Coachella but with beauty related stuff (oh minus the desert part too). It’s an amazing place to meet some of your favorite influencers, learn about new companies, buy some of your favorite makeup products, and watch panel discussions! It’s like a huge meet-up party! Plus, you might get some free goodies here and there.😉

There’s always brands each year that I’ve never heard of but that’s what makes it so fun because you get to learn about these new brands and their products. For example, I went to Clutch Nails booth this year because I’ve never heard of them, but basically they sell press on nails that look real and not cheapy haha. What drew me to their both was their beautiful flower wall (honestly my aesthetic as heck) and their nails reminded me of my Coachella nails!

Moving on, I LOVE watching panel discussions that include some of my favorite influencers because it’s nice to hear what their input is on different topics, whether it’s beauty or entertainment. This year my favorite panel was the one with Kim Kardashian (also let’s take a second to take in the fact that I was in the same room as a Kardashian omg…how many people can say that??😏) because she said some really inspirational things during her discussion about working hard towards your goal even though it won’t be easy, and to surround yourself with inspiring people!

Lastly, we can’t forget about all of the instagram-worthy shots located around Beautycon LA! I think every booth had some sort of photo op that was cute and unique! I absolutely loved the carnival and bubble bath inspired photo ops because they were so vibrant in colors and soot out to me! I adore how the pictures turned out!

All in all, I had a blast at Beautycon LA this year and I can’t wait for next year! If you’re a makeup lover like me and want a chance to meet some of your favorite creators I highly recommend attending Beautycon at some point in your life because it’s such a special experience that you won’t forget!♡

‘Till next time!

xo,

Lex
