If you like it, then you should put a stitch on it (Single Ladies reference anyone?? I tried lol).
Embroidery has been all the rage in the fashion world lately, from jeans to jackets you name the clothing item and you can probably find a style of it with embellishments on it. All of the it girls like Gigi Hadid and Olivia Palermo are wearing embroidered clothing items, so it must be trendy right??
I’m personally here for this trend. There’s just something so beautiful and whimsical about embroidery that makes it so stylish and lovable. This style has been making quite the statement on runways that fashion lovers are dashing to their local malls to get their hands on the latest styles.
At first, clothing items with embroidery on them can be kind of intimidating due to bright colors and out of the box patterns, but trust me they’re probably the easiest and most versatile pieces to wear. For example, you can pair an embroidered bomber jacket with a plain white tee and denim skirt…and BAM you have a unique, stylish outfit.
Embroidery can really add interest and dimension to a plain jane outfit. There are so many pretty embroidery styles out there that the options are endless! Since there’s really no rules in fashion you can have fun with mix and matching different embroidery pieces! With that being said, I highly recommend buying some type of embroidery whether it’s shoes, a purse, or bomber jacket! Having an embroidery piece of clothing(or accessory) in your closet will totally spice up your outfit!
I’ll link some of my favorite embroidery pieces down below:
-I got this jacket on-sale from ZARA back when I was in Washington D.C. for $39.99! Unfortunately they do not have it on their website anymore:( I did find it on Postmark but the price is hiked up for unnecessary reasons, so I’ll link similar ones down below.
- Floral-Embroidered Bomber Jacket, Black (Nieman Marcus)
- Quilted Geo Print Bomber Jacket (Forever 21)
(ZARA has so many floral embroidered shirts I suggest you go to their website and take a look at the rest of them)
- Embroidered High-Rise Girlfriend Jeans (Abercrombie & Fitch)
- Jamie Embroidered High Waist Skinny Jeans (Nordstrom)
Hope you enjoyed today’s blogpost and sorry for the delay in posting! But, I am back and better than ever so stay tuned for upcoming blog posts!!
